========================================================================= Webford 2.01 [Freeware] Release Notes README.TXT NOTICE --------------------------------------------------------- Copyright 1996, 1997 Jonathan Walsh. All rights reserved. ========================================================================= WHAT IS WEBFORD? ================ Webford is a user-friendly software package for Windows that makes it easy for anybody to create and edit pages for the World Wide Web. It functions in a very similar manner to a simple word processing package, except that it enables users to easily format documents with HyperText Markup Language (HTML) tags. Webford provides easy access to all of the most commonly used HTML tags. It includes useful features such as a wizard, pre-defined forms and JavaScript functions, and enables you to create Web pages based on your own HTML templates. Through Webford, text can be formatted to change its appearance and position, or to make it into a heading, a table, a list, or a link. Images and horizontal rules can be specified and inserted, the colours and background for a page can be changed with ease, and the system can even open your favourite browser to let you see how your Web page looks. Webford can do all this and much more with a minimum of effort. Webford is compatible with Windows 3.1 and Windows 95. WHAT DOES WEBFORD COST? ======================= Webford 2.01 is freeware, available to everyone free of charge.
